Jacob’s accomplishments in our Parsha are remarkable. At the onset of our parsha, Jacob is a 77 year old bachelor without a penny to his name. Having been robbed clean of all his possessions, Jacob undertook the grandest, most ambitious initiative in human history: the founding of the Jewish nation. In our parsha, he pulls it off. By the time the parsha concludes, Jacob has spent more than two decades in the home of Laban, his father-in-law, and has begat 12 children with 4 wives, amassed a great fortune, and began to travel back to Canaan. In this amazing episode I interview Richard Green, CEO at the Clarion Project. Richard began his career studying at the AISH HaTorah Yeshiva, under Rabbi Noah Weinberg. Shortly after the 911 attacks, Rabbi Weinberg explained to Richard that while he has devoted his life to Jewish Outreach, there is an eminent threat to Jewish lives as a result of radical Islam. While the world needs Jewish Outreach Rabbi’s to save souls, the world also needs those that will be dedicated to the mitzvah of Pikuach Nefesh (saving a life). Richard heard his calling and started the Clarion Project and a life committed to exposing and reducing the threats of extremism to create a safer world not only for the Jewish people but all Americans. The Divorce Vaccine – First Dose: How to Select the Right Spouse

What do you are about to hear is a vaccine against divorce. This first dose is intended for single people, who have not yet decided who they want to spend the rest of their lives with. If you are already married, you’ve made your choice and this part of the vaccine is not relevant to you. You can still listen to it, but be aware that this aspect of the vaccine is not pertinent to you.

In this series, we are working with the assumption that divorce is an epidemic that is solvable with a vaccine. Our solution will be painful, like having a needle jabbed in your shoulder, but it is intended to prevent a much greater pain. Like a vaccine, we are not promising 100% efficacy, but we’ll get close.

Stay tuned for the second dose of the vaccine. We are going to release it in a couple of weeks, after there’s been enough time for the antibodies to get in. There will probably be also at least one booster shot as well.
